Work & burnout

Am I burnt out?

Looking productive and feeling well are not always the same.

More than a busy week

Burnout is commonly discussed in relation to ongoing workplace stress. Feeling depleted, cynical about work, or less effective over time can be signals that your current way of managing demands deserves attention.

Not a self-diagnosis

Exhaustion and loss of motivation can have different causes. A checklist on the internet cannot tell you why you are feeling this way. It can help you notice a pattern and decide whether to speak with a professional.

A practical first conversation

Ask what has changed in your sleep, energy, patience, boundaries, and relationships outside work. Therapy can offer room to understand your experience rather than simply asking you to become more productive.

These reflections are educational and not a diagnosis or substitute for professional care.
