Starting therapy

Do I need therapy if things are not that bad?

You do not need to reach a breaking point to ask for help.

There is no minimum level of struggle

You might seek therapy because life feels heavy, because a familiar pattern keeps repeating, or simply because you want to understand yourself.

What matters is your experience

Consider whether your thoughts, relationships, emotions, or energy have felt different in a way you want to explore. You do not need to compare your difficulties with someone else’s.

Starting can be small

You can begin with “I don’t know exactly why I am here.” That is an entirely reasonable first sentence.

These reflections are educational and not a diagnosis or substitute for professional care.
